Q1: What is a temporary storage facility?

A: It’s a secure warehouse space where you can store your belongings short-term or long term, typically from a few days up to several months, while moving, renovating, or decluttering. We have 63,000 sq. ft. of temporary warehouse space available in the heart of Memphis, and not far from the Memphis International Airport. It is secure, fenced, lighted, and has a central station perimeter security system.

Q4: Are temporary storage facilities safe and secure?

A: Our temporary storage facility is sprinklered, lighted on the outside, has a central station perimeter security system, surveillance cameras, fenced, and we have climate control options to protect your items (if needed).

 

Q5: Can I access my items anytime? 

A: It is not recommended as your items are stored in warehouse vaults and require additional handling to unload and reload for access. We allow scheduled access during normal business hours for a handling charge. Temporary warehousing companies provide different hours of access, so check with them before you sign a contract.

 

Q6: Do I need insurance for stored items? 

A: If you are storing and moving with Lanigan Worldwide Moving your valuation coverage will cover your goods throughout the move process. This includes while in storage until delivery at destination.

 

Q7: How do I prepare items for storage?

A: If a full-service pack is complete there is nothing for you to prepare. Our crews handle basic furniture disassembly and will pad wrap all items so they are ready for vaulting when they arrive at out warehouse.

 

Q8: Can I store vehicles or large equipment?

A: Yes, our storage facilities in Memphis, TN and Jackson, MS have space for vehicles and large equipment. Please check for availability.
